The Interior Decorator Tool has been changed.

  • you can move House Addons out into the yard up to the 10 tile limit on yard items
  • you must first place the items inside your house then they can be moved to the outside
  • to redeed item you have to move it back into the house, then use axe on it

This change was for the purpose of creating better house and yard building. This is by no means a free reign to turn your yard into a junk yard. Read more info on PF forum.

A little info about new Full spawn area.

  • players can enter gate to full spawn area until level 6 is reached - after that, gate is disabled.
  • gate will be active again after main boss is killed
  • players cannot recall to the champ area and they cannot to use gate at level 6 and above
  • don't leave this area after level 6 because you won't come back (after all you don't need to leave area - there is Ankh for tithing points and resurrect, as well as Corpse retrieval, Bank stone, Pet res stone). If you leave full champ area, you will not returned back - without any exception
  • last but not least: there was a good practice split gold after full spawn. Splitting the loot has never been a written rule but has always been an understood sharing concept in our world. But last time some players collected gold and they didn't drop it to the pile for splitting. This is not fair against other players.

We have a new craftable scrolls in Inscription from today's boot on. They are called Superior Scrolls. There are 4 different levels of these - 12, 34, 56 and 78, which can be crafted with inscription 115.
These Superior Scrolls can be dropped on a spellbook and it will add the circle spells indecated by the level number: 34 means circle 3 and 4. So each Superior scroll adds 16 spells. If the spell book already has some spells, the new scroll only write scrolls that are missing. So if you have some circle 5 spells in the book and drop a level 34 Superior Scroll on it, the circle 5 scrolls will not be touched. But if you use say 56 scroll on spellbooks, which has some or even all the spells of 5th and 6th circle, the result will be same - a book full of 5th and 6th circle spells. So be wary of accidentally using a superior scroll on full spellbook. It wouldn't hurt anything, but the scroll will be wasted. 
You now have a new fast possibility to fill up spellbooks then. So enjoy it and use it to your advantage.

A little changes were made in custom XMLquests (quests where you get Quest book or other items and for which you get quest points).
From now you will get not only rewards for complete these quest, but also silver coins. Amount of points and silver depends on quest's difficulty, repeat time and others factors. Quest difficulty you can see right before you accept quest. Informations about difficulty and silver have been added to PF website to the info about quests too.
Even if most of quests have been already edited, some of them still weren't. Please be patient with them.

A few changes in our world. Mirror Image spell from Ninjitsu has been modified - see this topic on PF forum for more detailed info.


Next change was made with Soul stone. Like in previous case you can find more info in this topic on PF forum.

 

Those players, whom took part in Guild Tournament have been the first, who tried the art of Jousting. It was popular enough, so we decided to build a new Jousting arena. To get there, simply take gate leading to area of Archery contests (note: Archery buttes are at this new place too, so Archery contest will be held there from now on).
There are 3 gates in arena - the middle one leads to area, where a referee will be standing. Both other ones are for participants. A joust lance for each competitors are spawned too (spawning point is on the table near gates). Remember - it is the only weapon which can be used for joust. No other weapons (even those with Dismount ability) will function properly. It is unnecessary to gather this special lance, as it will disappear after half an hour. Last but not least - to get yout of this area, just say "exit joust" (without quotes). Hope you will enjoy this new pastime.

Good news for players who wanted to place Mailbox at their house.
New NPC Jack the Postmaster has been added today to the east Britain. For 5000 gp you can buy Mailbox from him. You can place mailbox in your house and secure it. Everyone can leave an item for you in it, but only you will have access to the mailbox. Mailbox can be used for your individual needs or like guild donation box.

I have noticed, that new thread has been started about Holy Hand Grenade on forum. Because I'm sure almost nobody knows how tu use them properly, here is a little info.
Once you have Holy Hand Grenade in your backpack, double click on it, then say: 1 2 3 (type 1 2 3 with spaces between numbers and hit Enter). Finally target desired creature.
I can tell that Holy Hand Grenade is the strongest weapon in our world - it does about 400 damage!!! It is like Zebulon wrote on forum - you are able to kill Ancient wyrm with two grenades

There have been a few changes and added features in our world:

  • Skill balls - The new SkillBall can be used over 100 if your skill cap is higher than 100. You can also use the new SkillBall for values less than 5 points and the unused points will be left on the SkillBall. Example: You have skill cap of 100 for cooking, you have 98.6 skill in cooking. Using the new SkillBall on that skill will set cooking skill to 100 and the SkillBall in your backpack will have a value of 3.6 points that can be used on another skill.
    You can see the difference by the name. The old SkillBall name: "A Skill Ball", the new SkillBall name: "Skill Ball".
    Note: The changes do not affect the old SkillBall. Only SkillBalls found form now on will have the new features.
  • Supply boxes - The supply, tool, ingot and granite chests and the regboxes can now be flipped to other art. This will give more flexability to decorating your house. They are flipped with the Interior Deco tool.
  • Monster contracts - The Monster Contracts and Brute Concordat can now claim corpses that your pets kill.

Some players already noticed, there are Silver coins. What they are for?
There is new vendor stone in the room opposite Pet dye room - you can use the same gate to get there (oldier player know this place like our old player vendor mall). You can find also new items in this room - items which you can buy for Silver coins.
Where are silver coins from? There are a few ways how you can get them:

  • quests - some new quest have been added - special little quest for silver coins. Also you will get silver coins for complete our custom quests (silver coins will be added to these quest in time). Also new crafting quests for silver coins will be added.
  • Run for Freedom maze - maze is now opened all the time. To get in it, you need to speak with Jules near teleporter to the maze. He will get you "ticket" which allows you enter maze. Maze can be done once per week.
  • other quests or events made by staff members

A few news from our world:

  • there is new item in our world: Herakles cursed axe. It has 100 uses and it is similar like Gargoyle pickaxe for mining - what means, you can "summon" any type of treefellow while you cut trees.
  • on North Willow mall you can find Seif, the Sign Maker. You can get sign from him for 1000 gp, which you can use in your house. Left click on sign in you backpack allowa you name the sign.
  • some new informations have been added to the Quest section.

Because players are often asking about rare pieces which can be found as rare loot in monsters, here is a little info about them.

  • you can find a rare piece of forged metal in White wyrms corpses. There are two types of them: and . Once you get both of them, doubleclick one of pieces and you will be rewarded with The Equalizer. It's great weapon for fighting against drakes, dragons and against other types of Reptiles.
  • there is a chance to get a piece of mystical material from any creatures. There are also two types of them: and . The same like in previous case, you have to get both of them, then doubleclick one of pieces and you will get one from six posible arties.

New Quest for Stealable Rares
We recently noticed the presence of Teague the Brigand in our land. It is said that he possesses a tool of some sort that allows him to see hidden rare valuables. Rumour has it it’s a lantern imbued with magical properties. Teague can be found in Haven, near the lighthouse.
Teague may be persuaded to part with his lantern for a price of course. I’m certain it’s a tool any rare hunter would love to put their hands on.

New PvP area has been opened for players who like PvP. You can access it by gate at Events. After coming to the PvP area, read carefully book with rules. This first room is not supposed for fighting. To get to the fighting area go next to sparkles and say: I agree. You will be teleported out and you can start to fight.
Note: Please don't attack newbie players who accidentally entered the gate - remember that fighting area is outside the room!

In the case you are missing your pets (due to connection lost or their ran from you) try first get them back with Pet Retrieval before you will send PM or Page.
Important note: keep your eyes opened for new quest givers. As most of you know, three new custom quests have been adden few days ago. They aren't described in Quests yet - we want you to find quest givers by yourself - not with our help. So don't ask staff about details and try to find them without help. Next quest givers won't be announced but be sure, new quest givers will be added regularly.
